Small files, not mysterious surveillance
COOKIE POLICY.
What the site stores on your device and why.
Routine-ish currently keeps tracking deliberately light. This page explains cookies and similar storage used by the site, including local browser storage.
WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can also remember information on your device.
WHAT ROUTINE-ISH CURRENTLY USES
- Essential WordPress and security cookies. These can be used for administration, authentication, security and core site functions. They are mainly relevant to logged-in site administrators.
- Performance/cache storage. The hosting and caching setup may use limited storage needed to deliver pages efficiently and securely.
- Local storage for the rescue tool. The “I’ve Completely Lost the Day” page can remember your progress on your own device. That information is not used to create an account or behavioural advertising profile.
- Comment preference cookies, if comments are enabled. WordPress can remember details such as your name or email if you choose to save them when commenting.
Routine-ish does not currently intentionally set analytics, behavioural advertising or social-media tracking cookies for ordinary visitors.
AFFILIATE LINKS
When you click an affiliate link, you leave Routine-ish and visit a retailer or another third party. That third party may set its own cookies or use other tracking to record that Routine-ish referred the visit or sale. Those cookies are controlled by the third party, not Routine-ish.
CONSENT
Strictly necessary storage can be used without consent where it is genuinely required to provide the service or keep it secure. If Routine-ish later adds non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking, the site will add an appropriate consent mechanism before those technologies are used.
HOW TO CONTROL COOKIES
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect parts of a website that need them to work. You can also clear local site data through your browser if you want to reset locally stored Routine-ish features.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy will be updated if the site starts using materially different cookies, analytics, advertising tools or other device storage.
